Jaap van Lynden
Jaap van Lynden has been admitted to the The Hague Bar in January 2000. He first worked with a mid-sized law firm for ten years, in a mixed corporate and litigation practice. Hereafter Jaap had a solo practice and was active as interim legal counsel with Vimpelcom, De Brauw, Metro Group, Staffing Associates and other companies. Jaap joined forces with MalmbergWaling in 2016.
Jaap has completed the Grotius post graduate courses “Corporate litigation” and “National and International contracting”. He is an author with Kluwer SmartNewz Contractlaw and publishes regularly about interpretation, termination and containment of risk and liability in Dutch contract law.

Having a background of 17 years at the bar (in the law firms Nauta Dutilh, founder WJK and partner BarentsKrans respectively) and 8 years of experience in business, Henk Waling is one of the more experienced corporate, business and securities lawyers in The Netherlands. Henk Waling is also a business valuation expert (Rotterdam School of Management, Business Valuation, 2007).
Over the years his practice has shifted from transactions towards dispute management and litigation (proceedings in regular courts as well as arbitrations). He has specific knowledge and experience in corporate disputes.
Henk Waling published several articles including a small book on director’s liability and an overview of Dutch company law in “European Company Law”. He is a member of the society for corporate litigation. He has lectured on mergers & takeovers and directors liability at the training program of the Dutch Bar Associaton (VSO).
